First time eating at Yummy Noodles. - peking duck in a bun, $4.50 (3) - house special chinese sausage & minced pork rice casserole, $9.50 - salt & peppered baked squid, $12.95 Very minimal content in the peking duck sandwich… I guess you pay for what you get. Rice casserole was tasty but rather pricey for what it is. And the baked (*perhaps they meant fried?) squid was waaaaay...

$15 brunch of food+a drink at Emporio! Stuffed french toast & eggs skillet with prosciutto di parma. Lovely space & great dishes! I’m still in love with how the prosciutto’s saltiness was compatible with the baked egg & tomato sauce!

Fishy love at Do or Dine! Such exquisite dishes: sardine salad, literal fish and chips, and striped bass. Forgot exact prices, but the bill came out to be ~$50 with tax. Extremely attentive service. One of best gastropubs in the city.

Full House Cafe Pork soup dumplings ($4.50), shrimp & pork wonton noodle soup ($4.95). Lots of filling in both soup dumplings & wontons. Well worth the price.

La Promenade des Anglais for Austin’s birthday. French food costs a pretty penny, but that shouldn’t be unusual. The frog legs provencale was rather buttery. I liked the creamy cheeses (can’t remember what specifically). Ratatouille was very flavorful, especially with the chorizo-tomato sauce. Good chocolate molten. Very courteous wait staff.
