Behind the Scenes at Lao Di Fang Custom Potato Balls
Steamed Buns Seafood Bowl

Hand-pulled noodle love at Lao Di Fang! An employee graciously offered to make the potato balls without the uze of beef in them. That was my appetizer for $3.50, the steamed little juice buns for $3 were Goyee’s (my aunt), and my seafood hand-pulled noodle bowl was $6. She enjoyed her house special bowl (egg, tripe, stomach, duck, beef) for $6 too. I was impressed that they offered a good amount of shrimp, imitation crab, fish tofu, squid, and razor clams in the seafood bowl.

An amateur's food journal that
mostly covers NYC.

I'm no expert in the culinary arts, but like anyone else, I have a thing for food.

This page is a tribute to any restaurant eats worth mentioning. Some are tagged as "home eats" that were whipped up at a home kitchen.
